Item Description
"Monster Parade" Vol. 1 #2 was published by Magnum Publications, Inc. in Nov. 1958. One of just four issues published for this title, contents include text stories w/illustrations, comics and photos from horror films. Issue features previews of "Plan 9 From Outer Space" as well as "It, From Beyond Space" and classic horror monsters/stars including Christopher Lee, Bela Lugosi and Lon Chaney Jr. Cover has some edge wear w/slight spine curl. Contents are evenly tanned w/age. Fine/VF overall. Scarce title. "Creepy" #1 was published by Warren Publishing, 1964. First appearance Uncle Creepy. Frank Frazetta's last full length comic strip. Archie Goodwin and Larry Ivie stories. Jack Davis cover. Frazetta, Reed Crandall, Al Williamson, Angelo Torres and Evan art. Off-white pages.
