Item Description
Lot of 15, from set of 16, each is 3x4". c. 1930s or earlier. Each has die-cut design and opens so they can be free standing. Each is a circus wagon/cage w/different animals such as a lion, tiger, hippo, zebra, polar bear, snake, monkey and more. Each back has same advertising text noting 16 in the set "One Cage Is Given Free With Every Stick Of Midway Candy Roll." There are 14 different in this lot plus a duplicate buffalo. Blank interiors have some surface paper rubs/lifts but outside surfaces not affected. Scattered trace of edge wear, few tiny margin tears. Some aging to backs, two w/inked numbers. VG to EX. Neat design and a rare issue.
