Item Description
This is the first post-war Mickey Mouse watch, produced in 1946. 1x1.5" metal case w/dial that features separate die-cut Mickey head which is on a post and designed to rotate w/the hour hand. 10 karat gold-plated case w/original leather straps. Dial was issued in two different versions, one with all 12 numbers and w/o a name (the variety offered here) and other version which has "Kelton" name and numerals of "3/6/9/12." Straps show wear, bottom strap has loose stitching, causing front/back of strap to separate. Watch is overwound and would benefit from a cleaning. Case exhibits lt. wear, but much gold luster remains. Fine. Scarce due to limited production.
