Item Description
Lot of three approx. 5x7" stiff paper cards featuring same photo image of "Adventures Of Superman" star George Reeves as Superman w/facsimile signatures. These promotional pieces were issued for several years w/different comics shown on backs. All offered here are 1950s, © NCP, Inc. First card's back features example covers of "Superman" #105, "Action Comics" #215 and "World's Finest" #81 (1956). .5" spot of surface paper lift at bottom left, only slightly affecting image. Upper right has surface paper lift at corner. Fine overall, but front remains nice for display. Second card has blank reverse and is Exc. aside from tiny corner crease. Last card features different facsimile inscription/signature from first two fan cards (mailed and issued at personal appearances), referencing watching TV show and Reeves having added "Superman" name. Reverse is blank. Exc. This is scarcer variety. Franco Toscanini Collection.
