"Adventures Of Superman" was the first TV series to feature Superman and was produced for first-run TV syndication rather than a network, airing Sept. 19, 1952 to April 28, 1958. Cover has four ink stamps noting reception by various agencies (w/additional stamp on first page) as well as episode number at top right. Script is for the 99th episode of the popular 1950s Superman TV series, it was the eighth episode of the sixth and final season (this script and following items #1856-1857 are for some of the show's last episodes). The episode featured a crime boss threatening Clark Kent (George Reeves) to stop investigating a story or he would unleash a bomb that would destroy most of Metropolis. Meanwhile, an iron monster has been spotted in the city and a robot has been forced to commit crimes.
