Item Description
27.25x41" one sheet movie poster for the 1942 Republic 12 chapter serial starring Kane Richmond as Spy Smasher, his alter ego Alan Armstrong and his own twin brother. Poster is for chapter 6, "The Invisible Witness" and is dominated by great full body image of Spy Smasher running to stop masked Nazi criminal The Mask as female lead Marguerite Chapman looks on from top right. Poster has large inset photo from the serial showing groups of men holding a roughed up Richmond before some menacing equipment. Folded as issued, poster shows margin wear along left and 1/8" split at top fold crease intersection and .75" split at bottom fold crease intersection. Two .5" tears along bottom margin. Poster remains bright and clean w/vivid colors and displays Fine overall.
