Item Description
4.5" long cardboard box w/thin paper hinged lid complete w/die-cut illustrated insert holds watch w/7/8x1-3/8" chrome luster metal case and original leather bands. Timex and produced for the English market, 1950s. Box's inner lid features illustrations of six of the Seven Dwarfs, w/insert featuring image of Dopey and British price tab. Box comes w/aged warranty paper. Exterior is aged and shows scattered wear w/1-3/8" hinge split at left, but rest of hinge is intact. Fine overall. Insert has some surface paper lifts, creasing and dust soiling. VG. Watch has original but worn leather bands which are VG. Dial features same image as the US watch but a totally different color scheme. Back of case marked "Timex - Great Britain." Watch is running. Crystal has yellowed slightly w/age and has trace surface wear. Dial has some minor scattered aging. Case retains near full luster. Running and VF. Rare and the only example of this watch we've offered in our 50 years.
