Item Description
1.25" dia. celluloid front looks like a pinback button, but interior has lead weight and reverse tin cover reading "Good Luck," showing wishbone, four-leaf clover, rabbit foot and horseshoe. "Tip Top Comics" premium, late 1930s. Other spinners were produced w/those known picturing Capt. Katzenjammer w/Hans and Fritz, Fritzi Ritz and Ella Cinders. Tin back has lost majority of sliver flashing w/just a few highlights here and there. Cello front shows just trace surface wear. Fine overall. Among the rarest Tarzan celluloid pieces, our last example selling for $1,124.
