Item Description
6.25x11.25x1-1/8" deep illustrated cardboard store display box w/die-cut display lid contains total of 72 rings, each w/full color image on white bkg. printed on a thin metal insert which is held to the top of the ring by four small brass luster prongs. On the underside is a narrow brass luster adjustable ring base. While box is labeled "Fashion Rings" and features images of young girls' rings, all rings in box feature Marvel superheroes. Boxes were frequently re-purposed like this. All rings are ©1977 Marvel Comics Group. Box shows some lt. scattered wear and display lid has been partially punched. Fine/VF. Rings includes six different designs, including - Spider-Man (13), Spider-Woman (9), Incredible Hulk (12), Captain Marvel (11), Ghost Rider (16) and Dr. Strange (11). All are Exc.
