Item Description
Pair of illustrated cardboard boxes contain highly detailed in 1/19th and 1/16th scale replicas, both made in Germany, 1970s. 8.5" long Porsche has plastic body over metal chassis w/steering wheel that controls front wheels and has opening doors. Has removable roof and back window making for four different display configurations. Has both wind-up and free-wheeling modes and comes w/replacement key. Works. Exc. Box shows some scattered lt. wear and is VF. 10.25" long Mercedes is model of C 111 experimental concept car that was never put into production. Made of heavy gauge plastic w/metal wheels and opening gullwing doors. Front wheels controlled by steering wheel, headlight covers open and shut w/lever under dash. Working battery-operated functions include - forward/backward movement and headlights. NM. Box shows some scattered lt. wear w/corner crease and is Fine/VF.
