Item Description
Pair of approx. 7.5x8" storybooks, each w/12 pages (not counting cardstock covers and record sleeves). Published solely for the Japanese market, c. 1966. First book was published by Shonengahosha and has sleeve containing translucent red flexi-disc record w/Batman name in Japanese and Batman image. Interior pages have specialty comic art. Second book has sleeve containing translucent blue flexi-disc record w/batsymbol. Interior pages have nicely done specialty art. Books show scattered handling wear w/pinch creases to spine and corner tip wear. Records shows lt. trace of wear. Fine/VF overall. Comes w/ total of 29 cardboard Menko cards from various 1960s set, featuring comic style art as well as images from the 1966 "Batman" TV show. All are different and show varying degrees of wear. Good to Fine overall.
