Item Description
Impressive 19" long free-wheeling toy is painted tin/tin litho w/rubber tires. Cab is modeled from Autocar/Oshkosh heavy trucks of the 1950s. Partial box, missing lid (but comes w/piece that explains actions). Box bottom has illustrations of other Cragstan toys of the period. Bucket shovel mounted on truck bed, swivels. First seen/unusual push-button action is lever wound and scoops up load, raises, dumps and lowers. Works well. Side of bucket scoop cab has applied "Cragstan" metal plates w/"C.S" plates of sides of scoop arm. Aside from aged rubber handle on lever (which has tip off) toy appears to have little to no wear and is o/w Exc. Neat design.
