Pair of 1940s Official Navy Posters. 30x40" poster published by Einson-Freeman Co., Inc.. Graphics feature three panels showing sailors, one wounded w/arm split and bloody head bandage w/"Want Some Fun?" text; one emaciated and lost at sea w/"Weather Too Hot?" text; one in torn uniform in jungle w/"All Worn Out?" text. Poster was printed to encourage Homefront production workers to be mindful of their absenteeism.Text at top reads "Think Of Them Before You Take A Day Off." Additional text below each image reveals the name of the actual serviceman and their experience. 28.5x40" Industrial Incentive Division 2-80M poster published by US Government Printing Office #0-551020. Poster art by Howard Scott features image of grinning sailor pointing behind him as sailor paints fifth Imperial Japanese flag on side of ship, indicating victories. Text reads "Couldn't Have Done It Without You! Full Speed Ahead - We've Still Got A Big Job To Do!" Posters are folded as issued, w/some creases and/or tears at fold crease intersections.
