Item Description
Original mailing envelope w/typed mailing address contains six individually packed cardboard boxes w/no markings other than stock numbers (three different) and "Made In Hong Kong" text. Each box contains 3" long die-cast metal/plastic similar in design to Corgi and Husky models. Sold through the mail and offered on cereal boxes and through Kool-Aid, the Monkeemobile was produced in four colors w/"Monkees" logo sticker on sides. This lot comes w/original clipped order slip w/each color (green, yellow, red and blue) being marked, w/total of six cars being ordered. Slip also notes order included four cereal proof-of-purchase seals and two Kool-Aid envelope tops. Order slip was returned w/order, w/red option circled w/handwritten "Out Of" note added and also noting "Received 2 Yellow, 2 Blue & 2 Green." Each box has original tissue and all cars are NM to Mint as made. Individual boxed cars are scarce, and to find a complete order such as this is very rare the only such example we've ever offered.
