Item Description
44x144" w/"D.C. Humprys Co." on header. Made of four pieces of cloth; two sections of star bunting and two sections of cream fabric each running the full length of the piece and machine stitched along seams. Text at center is executed by hand w/pencil outlines still present. This was most likely a special order piece that had to be custom made by the manufacturer. Missing grommet at top left and scattered small tan spots throughout that detract minimally. VF. Obtained by Leon Rowe in Rosedale, PA at the auction of a closed general store where this piece was discovered in the attic. Given the size and the function, it's an amazing survivor and in beautiful display condition. Leon Rowe Collection.
