Item Description
First at 2.75" is the oval for "Worcester Elastic Stocking & Truss Co." Silvering is missing from pair of 1/8"x1" long streaks but rest remains. On lower front there is faint tan tone over the lettering for "Worcester, Mass" but this shows very little. VF and only example we've seen. Next at 2" is eyeball design for "Iowa Optical Co.". Underside has mirror along with a groove on the outer perimeter indicating this was a covering for a compact. Made by Cruver, Chicago. Third at 2-1/8" is for "F.W. McNess' Sanitary Medicines." Made by Parisian with near 100% silvering. Last with some silvering dots off but 95% remaining promotes the "North-Western School For Stammerers, Inc., Milwaukee, Wis." This 2.25" mirror includes offer of a 112 page catalog and the quotation "Speech Is A Mirror Of The Soul". These last three have celluloid NM displaying Mint. All are scarce to rare.
