Item Description
6.75" long. Retaining original "Torsch & Lee" label on reverse. This variety is unlisted in Sullivan/Fischer and Hake but resembles Hake #3048 and S/F JGB-6. Applied albumen photos w/silver stamped text and designs including a knight w/three large plumes on his helmet flanked by text "The Plumed Knight" and a box labeled "40 Rounds U.S" w/text "Logan's Corps." below. Pencil inscription in top field above the design reads "Worn By Me On Parade For President Blaine." Essentially Mint as made. Superlative quality and bursting w/charm. Leon Rowe Collection.
