Item Description
Each of these cases is cardboard covered in a black or blue fabric material each about 3x9" when opened. All three include a celluloid covered window at the left with an inserted card that includes a pasted on photograph of the person to whom the card was issued. The first piece is a "Season Ticket". The second piece is also a season ticket but this one includes a pad with individual sheets each holding four perforated admission tickets. The serial numbers on each ticket match the number on the photo card. The sheet is missing the first 47 tickets but tickets (numbered on the reverse) 48-100 remain. Last is an employee card for a worker at "Ballantine's Inn" from the 1940 season. This also has a pad of "Participant" tickets, four to a sheet with only the first six missing and 66 remaining. A little light wear mostly on the exterior of the wallet-like folders but overall condition on all is VF. Next are three single blade miniature knives each about 1-3/8" long and each with a different design with text "New York World's Fair" with one including "1939" date. Fourth knife is a little larger and with two blades. One grip reads "European Center N.Y. World's Fair". The last knife 2.25" long with a single blade carries the logo of the 1965 fair and pictures the Unisphere. The 1939 knives are VF while this one is NM. All are scarce items.
