Item Description
7x9.25" original frame. Produced in Pennsylvania in the mid to late 1830s. Handsome portrait w/name below reading "M. V. Buren." 4.5" crack at lower right affecting the "B" in "Buren" and the candidate's left shoulder. Otherwise only scattered paint wear most notably a series of vertical scratches at lower right. Technically VG but displaying Fine w/very little paint wear. A beautiful display item for a notoriously tough candidate.
