Item Description
8.25" tall plastic figure of Baltimore Colts HOF quarterback Unitas on plastic base w/incised facsimile signature and "Colts" name. Hartland Plastics, Inc. c. early 1960s. Hartland produced just two named players (Unitas and Jon Arnett) along w/two unnamed player statues (a running back and lineman) being produced for each of the then 14 NFL franchises. These unnamed statues came w/decal sheets allowing owner to apply the number of his favorite player. Figure has typical lt. aging to white portions of helmet and pants w/some scattered aging/wear to shoulders. Still a nice VF example of a very desirable Hartland.
