Item Description
1.25" with light age on the back paper carrying the name and address of the Sherwood Bros. Wagon maker in Canastota, NY. This button with an incredible color range depicts young boy and girl huddling together in their wagon with text on the side panel "Sherwood Spring Coaster" and with the company name again repeated along the bottom edge. Outer edges of the button, especially at the very bottom, have fairly dark age stain but in total 90% of the visible surface remains totally clean and with full gloss. Among the rarest and most beautiful ad buttons ever produced. Our last example without stain back in Auction 195 realized close to $500. This button we would grade as VG but it remains visually stunning.
