Item Description
2.5" pocket mirror with beveled edge glass on the underside which has about 96% silvering. The advertising side, rather than being celluloid covered, has the image printed on what seems to be extremely finely woven fabric. Pictured is night time partial view of an early automobile with its interior illuminated and showing two female passengers. The caption at bottom is "A Reflection Of Good Taste/Woods Electrics." The only references we can find for this vehicle carry dates of 1898 and 1901. Curl carries name of maker Parisian, Chicago and that firm did begin in 1898. The image side of the mirror is essentially Mint. Only the second example in our 50 years.
