Item Description
Each button is 1.25" both as issued without a back paper and without a maker name. The first in outstanding color pictures American child actor "Davey Lee" and promotes his "Sonny Boy Club" which grew out of his title role in the 1929 film Sonny Boy starring Betty Bronson. In 1928 and 1929 he also played opposite Al Jolson and the theme song "Sonny Boy" from 1928's "The Singing Fool" became the first film song to sell over a million copies. Second button is c. 1935 with text "My Friend Shirley Temple." These are both Collectible Pin-Back Buttons page #155 specimens. Comes with Hake's COA.
