Item Description
1.25" with a little penciling on the W&H paper used 1900-1912. Beautiful action scene depicting large fish rising from the water attached, on close inspection, to a fishing line which extends from the corner of its mouth into the wooded area at the upper right. Bottom rim reads "Original And Genuine". Scarce and among the most colorful farm equipment buttons. The celluloid has about ten rather long (1") hairline scratches on the surface but these are not deep at all and although this sounds terrible, the damage is really very indistinct and seen only on very close inspection in reflected light. We'll call the button Fine but in actuality it displays practically Mint. Collectible Pin-Back Buttons color plate page 155 specimen. Comes with Hake's COA.
