Item Description
1.75" with light dust soil on the W&H paper. This button is one of the very best religious-themed pin-backs as well as pin-backs in general. Wonderful design shows six sets of railroad tracks going beneath a wrought iron archway with open gates and overprinted text "Omaha A Gate City". Background is green countryside leading to a beautifully shaded sky. Inscribed at the top "Delegate" and with rim text "International Convention Christian Churches Omaha, October 16-23, 1902". Among the very best Golden Age buttons for color and design. Collectible Pin-Back Buttons color plate page 163 specimen. Comes with Hake's COA. Cello is NM displaying Mint.
