Item Description
Larger of two sizes made of the five main Little Nemo characters made in Germany by Schaefer Vader. c. early 1900s. This is 6.5" tall w/faint incised Schaefer Vader crown mark and illegible number on bottom. Incised "Dr. Pill" name on front of base w/"Doctor Pill" name on doctor's bag he carries. Flask is missing china-topped cork stopper on back as is typical. Scattered paint wear to his over-the-glaze paint on coat but o/w Fine/VF. Wonderful likeness and detail. Rare.
