Item Description
2-3/8" tall silvered metal oval with a front design of three concentric raised oval lines with the center surrounding a black and silver cameo of Marquis Lafayette. This was the logo for the Lafayette Motors luxury cars produced 1920-1923 in Indianapolis. This car model was the first to feature an electric clock. Reverse is missing a threaded shaft and nut which originally attached it to the vehicle. The image area has ten very tiny black specks plus seven vertical hairline scratches on the face and hair areas although these are very shallow and detract very little. Enameling of the portrait area retains high gloss. Quite scarce. Fine
