Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains 5.5" long heavy plated die-cast car made in Germany (British Zone) and marked "Prameta Kolner Automodelle Mercedes-Benz-300" on underside of front steerable axle. 1950s. Box is evenly aged and shows scattered edge/corner tip wear w/.75" puncture to bottom side panel. Fine overall. Toy features three manually-operated functions that include steerable front w/protruding red turn signals at front left/right fenders, speed control and straight/curved driving modes. Plastic Mercedes radiator emblem is missing as is typical, but is o/w complete w/unique figural metal key in shape of policeman. Some scattered aging to plating, o/w VF.
