Item Description
2.25x3-1/8" pair of celluloid sheets held together by three rivets and with three notched edge wheels that allow the dog's eye positions and the design of his mouth to be changed. This example was made for British distribution with tiny text naming W&H and including their address in London but noting the item is "Made In U.S.A. Pat. April 11, 1905." One side advertises "Binder Twines 'Red Star'" And 'Viper' Brands./What We Have We'll Hold." Reverse has cutouts to count "Points" and "Games" along with pictures of the two brands of binder twine plus a small but beautifully colored image of a white bulldog standing upon the British flag. Very minor dust traces, mostly on the reverse. Rare and VF.
