5-3/8x7.75” 32-page guide has image of native on front and deals with how to set up your own Tarzan clan. Issued from Tarzana, California in 1939. Book has some pinch creases but is o/w Exc. Comes with blank envelope with “Tarzan Clans Of America Tarzana” printed address. Handling wear with a 1.25x1.5” stain in upper left-hand corner. Fine/VF. 3.5x6” blank membership application which for $1.00, you would get membership card, guide and “Edgar Rice Burroughs Latest $2.00 Novel.” 8.5x11” letter has “Tarzan Clans Of America” letterhead and is dated June 12, 1939. Official welcome to the clan was signed by “Chief Scribe” C.R. Rothmund. Folded twice for mailing, letter has a .5” tear at top fold and light handling. VF.
