Item Description
Each button is 3". Three of the buttons picture Mickey with a holly wreath and text "Disney's Magic Kingdom Of Christmas." The remaining seven buttons picture Uncle Scrooge as "Ebenezer Scrooge" along with one of Mickey's nephews holding a crutch and playing the role of Tiny Tim. Text on these buttons is "A Dickens Of A Disney Christmas" along with the name of a particular mall. Buttons are all from the Marshall Levin Collection with about two examples of each acquired directly from the NYC maker. Levin added his notations to the reverse with the first button in this group reading "Blank Sample 10/87 (and the quantity) 50". On seven of the remaining nine buttons the reverses have Levin's note as to the city, state, date (10/87) and the quantity of each made (250). The buttons for "Padre Staples" and "Scottsdale" have no inscriptions on the reverse. We believe these are all ten varieties produced. All are Mint as issued. Comes with Hake's COA.
