Item Description
The 1.25" button reads "Gene Autry Official Gene Autry Club Badge." Likely issued by Republic Studios and from the 1940s. The rings each have his name on the side panels accented by designs of lasso, horseshoe and hat while on the top in high relief against a concave background is his portrait. One ring is in brass while the other ring is in aluminum with gold tone on the portrait area. Light wear on both but both remain VF. The brass version was issued in 1941 by American Specialty Co. of Lancaster, PA for selling seed packs or Christmas cards. The second version is c. 1950, issuer unknown.
