Item Description
5.5" tall (8.75" tall to top of raised handle) tin litho sand pail made in Australia by Willow, an Australian tinware manufacturing company that had a Disney license from the late 1930s into the 1950s. Sand pail dates to 1938. © WDE. Pail features two great scenes, depicting the Dwarfs outside their cottage and playing instruments for dancing Snow White. Both scenes have "Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs" name along bottom. Interior has some scattered oxidation to bottom. Exterior has scattered oxidation under paint, but all images remains strong and pail is Fine overall w/strong color. Actual photo example shown in Doug & Pat Wengel's book "Comic Character Metal Sand Toys." Rare.
