Item Description
Original 2.75x3.75x.5" deep box contains great Art Deco necklace w/painted metal links and 1-3/8" tall by 7/8" wide painted pendant featuring raised "Akron" airship at center. Made by L.G. Balfour Co. of Attleboro, MA (who also produced the World Series press pins). Early 1930s. Box has some aging w/moisture staining at one lid corner and two lid corner splits. Necklace shows lt. wear and remains VF/Exc. on original felt-covered insert. Scarce.
