Item Description
King-Seeley Thermos Company. ©1963 P.A.T. Ward Productions. Box features image of Bullwinkle in "Space Peace Corps" spacesuit on the moon, holding USA banner, and posing w/one foot on defeated Boris Badenov, who holds fallen "Boris" sign. Gidney & Cloyd, the aliens from Rocky & Bullwinkle stand at left, holding welcome sign. Right panel features Rocky in "Rocky USA" space capsule and left side panel features Mr. Peabody attending "Peabody" rocket. Box was issued in blue and white color varieties; this is much rarer white color variety, w/less than ten known examples of this color (possibly never put into full production). Box has some scattered staining to interior and exterior has tiny 1/8" hinge corner split, but o/w box exterior shows very lt. wear/aging and white color is still bright and clean w/all art remaining strong. Still an Exc. example of this rare lunchbox. Comes w/8" tall thermos featuring Rocky & Bullwinkle on satellites. Shallow 1" indent w/lt. scattered wear. Plastic cap shows some lt. wear but thermos is still glossy and Fine/VF overall. Only the second example of this lunchbox we've offered in our 50 years.
