Item Description
Painted plaster w/6" base dia. and height of 6.25" to the top of Mickey Mouse's nose (10.25" to top of socket). Soreng-Manegold Co., c. 1936. Lamp features relaxed Mickey seated in armchair holding onto a book w/Mickey's name and Disney copyright text on front cover. Has original cord although this shows wear and while lamp works, it should be re-wired for actual use. Underside has felt covering. Some minor paint touch-ups to ears, chest and book, but piece still retains its original aesthetic and displays very nicely. Fine overall.
