Auction #182 - Part II
Item numbers 1500-3431 in auction 182
Item Description
1" from the 1930s issued for either English or Australian club with rim text "Sunday Tribune Popeye Club." Lettering and image probably once had brighter brass luster but all remains clean and readable with large black enamel accented image of him with upturned face and with pipe in his mouth. Reverse has very faintly scratched name of original club member along with his 5 digit club membership number. 1930s and only example we've seen. Rare and Fine.
