Item Description
1-1/8" litho picturing "Big Mac" in his railroad garb inspired by his "Magic Train" monorail. In 1958, United Artists Associated purchased from Associated Artists Productions the libraries of pre-1948 Warner Bros. cartoons as well as Fleischer/Famous Popeye cartoons. A new idea arose for a third group of kid targeted shows comprised of Warner Bros. live action shorts from the 1930s. The result was "The Big Mac Show" consisting of 210 reels of "Warner Bros. Featurettes" such as Keystone Kops, Joe Palooka, Charlie McCarthy, etc. In 1960, the show played in at least 11 markets from Boston and Buffalo to Pueblo, Co. and Fresno, Ca. The only example known to us. Mint.
