Item Description
8" long by 6" tall tin litho three-wheeled motorcycle w/built-in key on underside features delightful George Studdy's Ooloo cat character, friend to Studdy's popular dog character Bonzo, introduced in "Sketch" in 1929. Ooloo is depicted in great detail riding "Candy" motorcycle along w/two small cat friends, one in basket on handlebars and other riding behind on spring strip. Toy is marked "Made In Germany" but is w/o maker's identifying marks. Toy works well, moving around in a concentric circles w/help from the original back wheels (which are of different sizes as designed). A wonderful toy, both in character and wind-up. Toy has scattered lt. wear in the form of small paint nicks/scratches, but is VF overall. Rare and first we've seen in our 50 years.
