Item Description
1.5" diameter in highly detailed and high relief thick embossed brass. This premium was available in 1940 in exchange for five Pinocchio candy bar wrappers and 10¢. The wrapper from the Schutter Candy Co. stated "Medal Is Exactly Like The One Blue Fairy Gave Jiminy Cricket". In Auction #220 we had a NM example which came from the archive of Disney author/cataloger Tom Tumbusch which realized $1,817.20. While this example does not have the Tumbusch pedigree it is actually in slightly better condition with the luster as Mint as possible and definitely the best Mint example we've offered. A modest opening to allow the bidding to set the value.
