Item Description
4.25" tall licensed novelty figure made in Germany, 1930s. Mickey Mouse's one-piece body/head/hat are painted composition, as are his hands and shoes. Arms, legs, and tail are pipe cleaners as made. Back of head has circular paper label that reads "Mickey Mouse - Copr. Walt Disney - Germany." Figure has lt. even aging w/some tiny surface flakes to back edge of bottom of pants. Still VF overall. Although we have seen a smaller bw painted composition Mickey w/the same label under his feet several times, this is the first example of this unusual and charming item we've seen in our 50 years.
