Item Description
Lot of over 100 pieces mostly pertaining to/issued by "The British Roy Rogers Fan Club" from 1948-1953. There are two different 1.25" club buttons. Fronts are glossy but have some wear, metal collets have oxidation. Both are rare. 18 issues of the club magazine, each is 5.5x8". Loaded with Roy info, photos and more. Several issues have clipped button order form, all w/some staple oxidation. Six misc. club paper pcs. including letters, coloring contest, offer sheet. There are also two different club cards, Christmas card and two sets of 1.5x2.5" trading cards (24 cards per set). There are also 60 different size bw fan photos of Roy and other western heroes, some Roy club related and others not but all of the same era. Finally there are two issues of "Screen Cowboy Stories", one with a Roy cover. Several original mailing envs. come along. Overall lot is VG to Exc. An extensive instant collection.
