Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains 8-3/8" tall tin litho walking toy w/built-in key on back. ©1939. Box is evenly aged and shows obvious wear w/top flap and one inner flap loose (but included while other inner flap is missing. Top of box has some tears and edge creases. Good/VG. Scarce box. "Charlie McCarthy" name on front of toy's top hat. When wound, toy waddles about, Charlie's mouth opening and closing. Toy is evenly aged but o/w remains totally bright and glossy, Exc.
