Item Description
5.5" tall celluloid figure depicting long-billed Donald Duck mounted to 2.5" dia. painted tin base. Marked "Made In Japan" and back has complete paper label (though applied upside down). 1930s. Underside of base is missing usual wire winder and has been replaced w/thin piece of wood. Rubberband has also been replaced. Toy works, causing Donald's separate head (attached to counterweight) to nod. Tin base has a few tiny paint flakes. Toy has rare and tiny paper tag w/winding instructions attached at base. This is almost always missing. Original inspection label applied to Donald's hip. Figure has lt. even aging. Tiny hole to side of Donald's head; this appears to be as made. Fine/VF overall.
