Item Description
Lot of 11 2x3" stamps w/gummed reverse for mounting in "Superman-Tim" monthly magazines. Two are dated 1947 (Jan. and Oct.) and five are from 1948 (Jan., May, June, Oct., Dec.) while remaining four have no year indicated and are from a third numbered series (2, 3, 9 and April). Illustrations include Superman rescuing Tim from volcano, giant clam, quicksand, w/totem pole, fighting Native American, w/scarecrow, giant mosquito, ghost, etc. Unused w/just lt. wear/aging.
