Item Description
Pair of celluloid novelties featuring Betty Boop. 1.25x2" celluloid platform base w/attached 1-7/8" tall Betty Boop figure and smaller, 1" tall Mickey Mouse figure. 1930s. Exc. 2x2.5" celluloid platform base has attached 2.5" tall celluloid house w/chimney made from inserted pencil attached w/thin metal chain (for overall height of 3"). Bottom is marked "Made In Occupied Japan." c. 1940s. Betty Boop figure stands 1.25" tall and house has tiny "Happy House" sign above door. Roof of house has .25" dia. hole as made to hold 2.25" wooden pencil attached to 7.5" thin chain which is in turn connected to small celluloid dog figure. Pencil has some rubs and chain is aged but o/w celluloid parts are Exc.
