Item Description
6" tall glazed ceramic toothbrush holder features Mickey Mouse pushing out his chest w/his hands planted firmly on his hips. His arms are bowed to hold toothbrush handles which rest in triangular Art Deco-styled openings at left/right w/his long tail curving between his legs. Made in England, 1930s. Mickey is depicted w/striped pants as he appeared on English postcards (and comes w/example postcard) of the era by Inter-Art and Woolstone Bros. Typical lt. crazelines to white areas but toothbrush holder is o/w Exc. Rare and only the second example of this toothbrush holder we've seen in our 50 years.
