This and items through #1660 are each from the 1930s issued by "Los Angeles Evening Express." Each has a serial number and the idea was to match this number to lucky numbers printed on comic pages to win prizes. This and all examples are complete with backpaper except as noted. Surface has .25" cello crack on her left shoulder but barely showing even in reflected light. Piece is totally clean and glossy with perfect centering. She seems to be the rarest in the series and we've seen only a couple of other examples. Displays Exc.
