Item Description
5.5x13.75" long pressed steel base w/wooden wheel and pair of 9.25" tall wood figures of Columbia Pictures cartoon characters Scrappy and Margy w/paper labels on both sides. Gong Bell, c. 1930s. Scrappy has attached die-cut tin arms which hold wooden-tipped drumsticks that play metal xylophone (which has cardboard box surrounding it featuring Scrappy's dog Yippy) as toy is pulled along. Missing original string. Margy (who wears string hula skirt) revolves w/the music as pulled. Toy works well. Margy has some small scattered spots of staining and Scrappy has a few faint moisture stains. Fine overall. Scarce.
