Item Description
Each 1-7/8" with glass cover over top of an embossed litho tin interior each with five small white beads to place within the mouth area of the depicted woman. While the designs are similar they are also different in the details including the design of her dress and one has the slogan "Use Star Soap" with the other reading "Buy Star Soap" both have text below naming the maker "The Schultz & Co., Zanesville, Ohio." The "Use" example has black dots on the silvering with 85% silvering while the "Buy" example has 97% silvering. The image areas of both pieces are NM. c. 1900.
